Soap Jellies
Ingredients:
1 box of gelatin
Body Wash or Dishsoap
Food Coloring
​
Directions:
Step 1: Follow directions on box to make gelatin
Step 2: Add tablespoon of desired soap to gelatin. Stir together.
Step 3: Poor mixture into desired molds (Silcone molds work best). Add food coloring and stir.
Step 4: Place molds into fridge to chill. About 8 hours.
Step 5: Remove from molds and enjoy!

Biscottis
Take your taste buds on a sweet
adventure with these biscottis. Help
guide your learners on the process of
dough making and baking.

Step 1: Create the dough using
your favorite biscotti recipe.
Step 2: Place onto baking sheet and shape into loaf.
Step 3: Bake at 375* for 25 minutes
Step 4 : Slice cookie log diagonally.
Step 5: Decorate and add desired chocolate. We even decorated one as Ms.Biscotti, a character from the
story!

Paper Making
Items Needed:
Scrap Paper
Water
Canvas on frame
Tulle or Mesh
Sponge

How to prepare screen:
​
Step 1: Cut away and remove canvas from wood frame.
Step 2: Cut tulle/mesh to fit frame allowing 1" extra fabric around the edges.
Step 2: Tape or hot glue tulle/mesh to wood frame. Set aside for now
How to create Paper:
​
Step 1: Use scrap paper of choice (old newspaper/ flyers/ junk mail/ etc.) and tear into small bits.
Step 2: Place your bits of paper into kitchen blender with 1 cup of water. Blend together to make pulp. Consistency will be mostly smooth.
Step 3: Pour onto prepared screen and press with wet sponge to flatten and fill screen.
Step 4: Allow to dry before removing from screen.

Bat Cakes!
Items Needed :
Complete Pancake Mix
Water
Food Coloring
Candy Eyes
Squeeze bottle

Step1: Add pancake mix and water in bowl to make batter.
Step 2: Add food coloring to the batter to create a gray batter.
Step 2: Pour batter into squeeze bottle.
Step 3: Squeeze batter onto griddle in the best form of a bat as possible.
Step 4: Allow to cook, then carefully flip to cook the other side.
Step 5: Add candy eyes and Enjoy!

Creative Crayons
Items Needed:
Old or unused crayons
Old or unused muffin pans
Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 300*
Step 2: Remove any paper from old crayons and break up crayons into smaller bits.
Step 3: Add bits of crayons into muffin pans. Feel free to combine and create any color way inside of each muffin cup. Tip: Having multiple colors in one cup turns out fun and cool!
Step 4: Once you have filled as many of the muffin cups as desired, place in preheated oven. Bake 15 min.
Step 5: Remove from oven and allow time to cool and set.
Step 6: Enjoy your new crayon creations!

The best things my kids loved about these crayons is that they could have multiple colors in one convenient crayon and stack them all up- regular crayons can't do that, ha!
